Educational Campaigns

""

Educational Campaigns are a great way to highlight “Health Awareness” months or other important updates that are relevant to your healthcare organization. Examples include:

  • Flu Vaccine (September, October)
  • Breast Health (October)
  • Behavioral Health (March)
  • And of course: COVID-19 Testing and Vaccines

Educational campaigns are a great way to increase traffic to PMC, and we will proactively reach out to you (via your Customer Success Partner) if we have any updates in PMC, as they relate to upcoming educational campaigns. Note that robust clinical configuration is important to ensure the correct providers are linked to these campaigns.

Best Practice examples from inspira and emory

Emory Healthcare has set up Flu Vaccine Locations as providers. This is a great way to create a seamless and smooth patient journey when searching in PMC for a Flu Vaccine location that is convenient for them.

For more information on how to create “Location(s) as a Provider” please reach out to your Customer Success Partner.

For any of these Educational Campaigns it makes a lot of sense to drive traffic from any of the appropriate Marketing Channels discussed earlier in this document such as Social Media, Email Campaigns, etc.

Another best practice worth mentioning, related to campaigns, is to create a landing page. Here you further explain the benefits of making an appointment with a provider or location and where you can display a detailed FAQ.

This content and FAQ’s (ensure to write these from a patient’s perspective) should be an integral part of your content strategy and will improve SEO significantly.
