Facilitated Appointment Metric (if you are a non-DirectBook customer)

The “Facilitated Appointment” Metric, for non-DirectBook customers, is a metric that Kyruus has determined based on extensive research.

In the absence of a healthcare organization having DirectBook: We calculate that 30% of the patients that clicked the “Appointment Requested” button, actually show up at the Doctor’s office.

Booked Appointment Metric (if you are a DirectBook customer)

If you have DirectBook installed as a part of PMC, you can actually see how many patients booked appointments. In the PM-Analytics Consumer Dashboard, on the “appointments” tab, you can see how many patients booked appointments for a time frame of your choosing. In this tab you can also see what the conversion rate (top graph) and the drop off rate (bottom graph) is for each step in the DirectBook process. See image below:

""

The key here is to increase the conversion rate at each next step in the DirectBook process and to reduce drop off rates for each of these steps.

Please note that at the last step, “Booked Appointment”, the conversion rate and drop-off rate are identical as this is the last step where a patient converts into a booked appointment and then leaves (i.e. drops off) the DirectBook goal-flow.

We typically see a high drop-off rate at the “Provider Schedule” step. This is most likely attributed to the lack of availability among providers. The opportunity here is to increase availability. Your Customer Success Partner can assist you.
