In this section, you learned about the second phase of the Patient Journey, ENGAGE. Additionally, you were introduced to various tools and best practices. Now take a moment to review a few key takeaways below.

Key Takeaways

  • The Engage stage refers to how patients are engaging with healthcare organizations’ websites and PMC functionality, and the obvious goal of the healthcare organization is to make the patient journey as intuitive and short as possible.
  • Within ProviderMatch Analytics, there are 2 specific tabs of the Consumers dashboard that give insight into how consumers and patients are interacting:
    • Searches - shows data and metrics pertaining to search activity performed by consumers.
    • Engagement - shows specific engagement with provider profiles including how many are viewed, clicks to start the booking process, and engagement broken out by provider and specialty.
  • The KyruusOne dashboard provides insights into your provider data, and within the Data Quality tab you can analyze your provider profiles to see whether or not they are “well configured”.
  • Being “well configured” is a benchmark for provider profiles where at least 12 of 17 data fields are configured, thus giving them a higher propensity to have appointments booked.
